So true! As relapse risk is the highest the year after recovery, I wonder how many relapses could have been prevented by more follow up and a softer transition from being 'in treatment' to 'discharged'.

This! It's such an overlooked period of recovery. Support in the final stages is absolutely vital to reduce the risk of relapse, in my opinion.
